Meet Sana Kurata, a normal school girl who happens to be a popular television
actress. She lives with her eccentric mother (Mariko A.K.A Mama) ; an award
winning author , and Rei Sagami, her manager (pimp/lover/boyfriend). Yes,
Sana's life would be just about perfect if not for Akito Hayama (the incarnation
of Satan- according to Sana) and his troupe of "monkey" boys. You see,
Sana goes to a regular school and Akito (and of corse lets not forget his
chimp brigade) are in the same class. Akito takes every opportunity to
disrupt any class room activity (via his underlings, Akito doesn't do any
of his dirty work himself), and terrorize the hapless teaching staff. Of
course you realize Sana will not put up with this for very long, setting
up a showdown between Sana and devil boy Akito.

I have been on record as saying that Marmalade boy was the anime equivalent
of crack, well allow me to introduce LSD. To say Child's Toy is surreal
is a major understatement. With it's impromptu rap sessions , insane dialog
speed, and of course, Babbit(the rabbit/bat who serves as the narrator-major
marketing tool) this show is down right bizarre. And like Chacha and Marmalade
Boy before it, after only one episode I was hooked. I loved every minute
of it.
